Thiruvananthapuram: The SSLC exam dates for 2026 have been announced. The SSLC exam will begin on March 5. The exam will end on March 30, Education Minister V Sivankutty announced. The exams will begin at 9.30 am. The minister also announced that the IT and model exams will be held from January 12 to 22, 2026.
The SSLC IT exam will be held from February 2 to 13, 2026. The SSLC model exam will be held from February 16 to 20. The application and examination fee must be paid without penalty from November 12 to 19, 2025. Applications with penalty will be accepted from November 21 to 26. The evaluation will be held from April 7 to 25, 2026. The results will be declared on May 8. A total of 3000 centers are being set up for the exam, including seven centers in the Gulf region and 9 centers in Lakshadweep.
Four lakh 25 thousand students will write the SSLC exam in March 2026. Higher Secondary Examination
Higher Secondary – Vocational Higher Secondary First Year Examinations will be held from March 5 to March 27, 2026. Higher Secondary – Vocational Higher Secondary Second Year Examinations will be held from March 6 to 28. The first year exams will begin at 1.30 pm and the second year exams will begin at 9.30 am.
