The Onam examinations (Annual Exams) for schools across the state will commence today. Students in the Upper Primary (UP), High School, and Plus Two (Higher Secondary) levels will begin their exams today.
For the Lower Primary (LP) section, the exams are scheduled to begin on Wednesday. The exams for students in classes 1 through 10 will conclude on the 26th of this month, while the Higher Secondary (Plus Two) exams will end on the 27th. In the case of classes 1 and 2, exams will be considered complete once the students have finished their papers in their respective classrooms.
For other classes, the exams will be conducted over a duration of two hours. At the same time, the weather department has issued an alert for heavy rainfall today and in the coming days, which has raised concerns that the examinations may be delayed or disrupted due to weather conditions.
